Spiral Stairs to the Cupola
Part of the 360 degree view from the Cupola

Before returning to the main floor from the second floor, take the locally-crafted steel spiral staircase to the cupola. CVG fir treads (crafted from reclaimed stadium bleachers) lead to a one-of-a-kind, 360 degree view above Port Susan. The walls of the cupola are covered in American Clay, giving it the feel of an old stucco-walled light house. The CVG fir open-slat floor provides views to the floors below. Every other Milgard apron window opens to allow the ocean breezes in and a small version Fresnel lens light fixture completes the feeling of a lighthouse.

The cupola not only provides an amazing view but it provides natural light and ventilation to the whole house.
